Shanghai Cutting Escalator Co., Ltd., established in 1982, mainly produces metal screw thread tools and other cutting tools. Our main products include taps, spades, lying boards, and other similar products. We have an annual production capacity of more than 15,000,000 pieces.

Our office space covers 6000m², and we have a construction area of 14,300m². We have a total investment that reaches 145 million RMB. In addition to self-made specialized equipment, we import advanced vacuum heat equipment from West Germany and the U.S.A. The key parts of the lying board and spade integrated brazing equipment are imported from Germany, Switzerland and the U.S.A. We are a leader in the Chinese market at using the technologies of integrated brazing, cutting and vacuum heat treatment. All of our products meet modern international standards.

We have the capacity of producing straight groove, spire groove, groove top and other kinds of spades, gear broach and other metal cutting tools in large quantities. Our annual production capacity of four million mechanical spades is the largest in China. We occupy 20% of the domestic spire cutting tool market. These tools are used in communication, construction, and machinery electronic tools. From 1995, we began to provide accessory service to the China First Automobile Group, the China Dongfeng Automobile Group, the Shanghai Dazhong Automobile Co., Ltd., etc.

Our registered trademark "Sanquan", with a history of 70 years, is well known in Chinese tool manufacturing fields and among customers. Approved by the National Technology Supervising Bureau in 1995, the company was appointed as the member and the chief unit of the National Standard Cutting Equipment Technology Committee Spire Brad Divison. We are in charge of drafting the national standard technology program of spire cutting tools and editing and publishing the publication, The Spire Cutting Tools.

We strictly enforce a responsibility for quality control among our factories. We have an experienced team in charge of quality control and supervision that regularly investigates the efficiency of the QA System. Quality Control is managed from the beginning to the end of the production cycle. "Handy Spade", one of our main products, won the National Silver Award in 1983 and in 1988. "Mechanical Spade" won the title of "excellent products" of the National Committee in 1983 and in 1988. In 1996, we were among the first group of Chinese tool manufacturers to receive an ISO-9002 QA approval.
